Farzan Samsamy Studio was founded on the belief that most brands underestimate what great photography can do for their business — and overpay for imagery that looks nice but doesn't move the needle.

We're a Surrey-based commercial production studio specializing in food, product, people, and motion photography. Our clients range from emerging food brands to product companies and business owners who need visuals that match their ambition. What they share is a belief that imagery is an investment, not an expense.

We bring a rare combination to every project: PPOC-accredited photographic craft, an MBA-trained understanding of brand and market strategy, and a purpose-built studio facility in the Fraser Valley designed to produce agency-standard work without the downtown overhead.

Farzan Samsamy — Director of Photography & Creative Director

Farzan's background is unusual in commercial photography: before building this studio, he trained in international marketing strategy at the MBA level — learning how brands compete, how purchase decisions are made, and what role visual identity plays in all of it.

That perspective shapes every production. Farzan doesn't just light and shoot — he thinks about who will see the image, where they'll encounter it, and what needs to happen next. The result is photography and direction that serves a commercial purpose, not just an aesthetic one.

Farzan is an active member of Canada's professional photography community: PPOC, CAPIC, and CAPA accredited, and a recognised exhibiting artist at Xposé 2025 (CAPIC). His work has been distributed through Getty Images and recognised by ViewBug's 2025 international awards including The Eye Award and Momentum 25 Award.
