The way you're seen is a business decision. Make it an intentional one.

Executive portraits and brand photography for founders, teams, and the people who power ambitious companies.

• Serving Surrey & Greater Vancouver

The most expensive photography is the kind that makes you look smaller than you are.

There's a moment in every business when the photography stops matching the reality. The company has grown. The founder has a clearer voice. The brand stands for something distinct. But the imagery still looks like it was shot three years ago on someone's phone. People photography at Farzan Samsamy Studio isn't a headshot session — it's a strategic production designed to give you visuals that match where you're going, not where you've been.

Portraits Built for How You Need to Be Read

An executive portrait does a job: it tells clients, press, and talent who they're dealing with before a word is exchanged. We direct the session so the images signal the authority and clarity your position actually carries — production built around how you need to be seen, not just a flattering headshot.

Our Portrait Service

  • Executive & Founder Portraits — Strategic portraiture that communicates authority, vision, and approachability — for LinkedIn, press, speaking engagements, and brand identity.

  • Team & Culture Photography — Cohesive team imagery that communicates company culture and the human side of your brand to clients, partners, and talent.

  • Brand Identity Sessions — Workspace, lifestyle, process, and brand imagery that communicates your identity across every platform.

  • In-Studio or On-Location — Shoot in our Surrey studio or at your office, showroom, or chosen venue. Full creative direction and production support either way.

Our Process

STEP 01 – REACH OUT

Fifteen minutes on a call, or twenty in the studio. You describe who's being photographed, where the images will appear, and how the people need to be read. We tell you what the session requires and whether we're the right studio for it.

STEP 02 – SCOPE AND BOOK

We agree the shot list, the number of people, and the production date. A contract and 50% deposit secure the date — no date is held until the deposit is received.

STEP 03 – PREPARATION

You receive wardrobe guidance, a preparation guide, and a short questionnaire covering where the images will run and what each one has to accomplish. That determines the lighting and framing before the session rather than during it — a LinkedIn thumbnail, a press-ready portrait, and a wide website header are three different frames, and deciding on the day means compromising all three.

STEP 04 – SESSION DAY

Most people arrive unsure how to be photographed. That's expected, and it's our job rather than yours — we direct, and you'll see frames as we go so the direction is agreed rather than assumed.

STEP 05 – DELIVERY

15 business days from the session, you receive fully retouched high-resolution files, sized and cropped for the formats agreed in preparation — LinkedIn, website, press, print, and internal use.
